Intended use

The product adds another SD card slot to your Raspberry Pi
version 3.0 (SDXC).
It is intended for connecting to a USB port.
In addition, you can also operate it on a computer with Windows
installation is not necessary.
Power is supplied and data is transferred via USB (micro USB2.0 port (USB_M) or 5-pin con-
nector (USB_P)).
For safety and approval reasons, you may not convert and/or alter the product. If you use the
product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. Moreo-
ver, the improper use involves risks such as short-circuits, fire, electric shocks, etc. Please read
the operating instructions carefully and do not discard them. If you pass the product on to a third
party, please hand over these operating instructions as well.

• When you touch or connect the board, you should take the appropriate safety
precautions against static charge (e.g., ground strap, insulating support, etc.).
• The product is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Position the
product so it is out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave the packaging material unattended, since it could become a dange-
rous plaything for children.
• The product is only suitable for dry, enclosed indoor areas. It must not get damp
or wet.
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, high
dust occurrence, strong vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows or falls even
from a low height.

Connection and Start-Up

As an alternative to micro-USB 2.0 connection (USB_M) you can also use the 5-pin (USB_P)
connector. Always observe the correct allocation. You can find this information either in the
manufacturer's data sheet in English or on the board (white print next to the 5-pin connector).
