Application

The perfect cleaning of the inside of the aquarium
pane is achieved by uniformly moving the outside
magnet in the direction of arrow printed on (1).
Jerky movements may cause the inside magnet to
come lose and sink to the bottom. By means of the
retaining cord it is very easy to pick up the magnet
and place it again.
Note: Prior to placing the inside part of the magnet,
it is very important to check the rough surface and
to clean it, if and when necessary, by scraping off
the hard dirt parts, for example, in order to prevent
the panes from becoming scratched.
In case of heavy soiling and frequent use, the rough
surface has to be cleaned or replaced, if and when
necessary. If the retaining cord has become wet on
the outside, „wicking" will cause the water to rise
from the aquarium starting to drip. For this reason, it
is advisable to dry the cord with a cloth or to remove
the magnetic pane cleaner from the aquarium
completely. In case of magnets 220.57 and 220.58,
we recommend to always store them outside the
aquarium with the protective devices fitted in order
to prevent the risk of injury.

Utilisation

Pour obtenir un résultat de nettoyage optimal,
nous recommandons un déplacement de l'aimant
externe suivant le sens des flèches imprimées sur
le couvercle (1). Un déplacement ne respectant
pas ce sens pourrait conduire au décrochage de
l'aimant interne, tombant ainsi au fond de l'aquarium.
Pour cela, la cordelette de sécurité permet une
récupération facile de l'aimant interne et une remise
en place.
Remarque: Il est important de contrôler la surface
de nettoyage avant toute mise en place de l'aimant
interne. Des grains de sable, coquilles d'escargots
ou autres particules dures pourraient se glisser
dans les interstices de la surface abrasive et rayer
définitivement les vitres de l'aquarium !
Lorsque l'aimant est très utilisé, il est important de
nettoyer régulièrement ou de remplacer la surface
de nettoyage. Lorsque la partie extérieure de la
cordelette de sécurité est mouillée, une fuite d'eau
peut se produire par effet de capillarité. Pour cela,
nous conseillons de bien sécher la cordelette ou
de retirer l'ensemble de l'aquarium après usage.
Concernant les modèles 220.57 et 220.58 et
dans le but d'éviter toutes blessures, nous vous
recommandons d'effectuer un stockage hors de
l'aquarium en utilisant les différentes protections
nécessaires.
