The oil/fat does not absorb odours or
flavours during deep frying (from 170 °C).
Different foods can be deep fried in
succession in the same oil.

Do not season food over the deep fat fryer.

Do not insert too much food all at once
it should float. It is preferable to deep fry
small amounts of food!

Deep frozen food: Shake off ice and fill the
basket outside the deep fat fryer to reduce
fat splashes.

Leave deep frozen fish to thaw slightly.
This will reduce the frying duration and the
fish will have a beautiful golden yellow
colour.

Chips made from fresh potatoes must be
dried on a cloth before deep frying. If moist
or frozen food is inserted into the deep fat
fryer, the fat will froth particularly violently.
Therefore, slowly lower the filled basket into
the oil/fat and lift out again several times.
This will prevent the fat from overflowing.

Dab freshly fried food with kitchen roll.

Do not throw old oil or fat onto the compost
heap or into the household refuse.

council about collection centres.
