PROBLEM
The power supply cable is not
plugged in to the power socket.
The machine does not

CAUSE
Connect the plug to a power outlet meeting the
technical specifi cations given on the data plate "O".
Position the main on/off switch "M" on "I".
Fill tank "L" with water.
Insert a capsule in the capsule compartment "B".
Lift the lever "A", remove the capsule, close the
compartment to dispense a small amount of water,
reopen the compartment "A", insert the capsule
again, lower the top until it locks in position and
press the coffee brew button "F". If coffee is not
dispensed, discard the capsule.
Make sure that a capsule has been inserted into the
capsule compartment "B", lift the lever "A", lower
it again with some force as far as it will go. Press
until you feel the lever "A" lock and press the coffee
brew button "F".
Press the coffee brew button "F".
Insert the water tank "L" completely into the machi-
ne until it clicks fi rmly into place.
Descale the machine as described in the related
paragraph.
Check that the capsule compartment "B" is devoid
of capsules, lower the lever "A" to the locked posi-
tion, press the coffee brew button "F" to dispense
water. Try to dispense a coffee with a capsule.
Turn the machine off by positioning the main on/off
switch "M" to "0" and let it cool for at least 10 minu-
tes. Turn it on, by positioning the main on/off switch
"M" to "1", wait until the temperature OK indicator
"F" is on, verify that the capsule compartment "B" is
devoid of capsules and try to dispense water.
Make sure to use capsules for household use, iden-
tifi able by "single-dose household ground coffee
capsules" on the packaging and not capsules for
professional use identifi able by "For professional
use only" on the packaging.
