Main functions of Horizon
CHANGE CHANNEL
a) Fast zapping
Press the CH+ / CH- buttons during
a current programme to switch channel.
b) Channel list
Press the up-down arrow buttons during
a current programme for 2 seconds
to activate the channel list. Go to the
required channel and press OK to select it.
c) Picture-in-picture preview
Press BACK during a current programme
to activate the channel bar. Afterwards
you can scroll between channels by using
the up-down arrow buttons. Press OK
to acknowledge the new channel.
RECORD PROGRAMME
a) REC button
Press REC on the Horizon remote control
during a current programme. Select CONFIRM
RECORDING to start recording. Set a
customised time buffer before and after
the programme under ADD EXTRA TIME.
b) Action menu
Press OK during a current programme to
activate the action menu. Select RECORD and
then CONFIRM RECORDING to start recording.

c) TV Guide
Select the required programme in the TV
and press OK to open the action menu. Select
RECORD and then CONFIRM RECORDING
to set the recording. Set a customised time
buffer before and after the programme under
ADD EXTRA TIME.
ORDER ON DEMAND FILMS
Press MENU and select ON DEMAND.
Select the required category, locate
the film of your choice and press OK
to open the action menu. Select RENT
and then enter your PIN to order the film.
The default PIN is 0000. You can
change the PIN at TOOLBOX-SETTINGS.
FAVOURITE MODE
Allows you to display only the channels
that you have made favourites.
To create your favourite list, press MENU
and go to TOOLBOX. Select SETTINGS-
PREFERENCES-FAVOURITE CHANNELS.
Select your favourite channels at SET
FAVOURITES. Important: to save favourites,
press the left arrow and then CONFIRM LIST.
You can then order and number the
selected channels as you like via REORDER
FAVOURITES.

TV GUIDE MAIN MENU & REPLAY
The TV GUIDE provides detailed
information about current
programmes as well as upcoming
programmes on individual channels
for the next last seven days
(depending on the channel) and
offers three modes to review
the schedule:
- ALL CHANNELS
- SINGLE CHANNEL
- BY GENRE
A long press (2 sec.) of the OK
button on a live programme takes
you directly to the channel and lets
you skip the action menu.
jumps one day backwards
or forwards
A long press (2 sec.) of the arrow
buttons lets you navigate the
channel overview faster.
RADIO STATIONS
The radio stations are available
from channel number 700.
