Insert / change the batteries

1. Open the battery compartment by turning the screwcap to the left.
2. Insert a CR123 battery so that the positive terminal protrudes.
3. Close the battery compartment.
Notes:

Use only intact CR123 brand batteries

The battery compartment is sealed to the
interior of the device. This means that you can
change the batteries even in the rain. Water ente-
ring the battery compartment cannot damage the
internal electronics. On occasion, however, it
posotive pol

should be dry cleaned with a cloth. Afterwards,
it should be left open for a few hours to allow
the last moisture to evaporate.

If you insert the battery once with the polarity
reversed, nothing can happen. The TILO is
protected both mechanically and electrically.
