- Seite 6 EINSATZBEREICH Die Rucksäcke der Free Rider Reihe mit SPS FLEX-Rü- ckenprotektoren sind speziell für die Risiken von Skifah- rern und Snowboardern konzipiert, die sich abseits der gesicherten Pisten bewegen. Diese Rucksackmodelle bieten bei Beachtung dieser Bedienugsanleitung einen gewissen Schutz und reduzieren damit die Verletzungs- gefahr im Falle eines Sturzes oder Aufpralls auf ein Hindernis.

Seite 7: Richtige Einstellungen
Persönliche Schutzausrüstung (PSA) wurde gemäß der EU-Richtlinie 89/686/ EWG und ab 21.04.18 gemäß PSA-Verordnung (EU) 2016/425 getestet und mit der CE-Kennzeichnung gekennzeichnet. Sie bietet damit einen begrenzten Schutz innerhalb des Anwendungsbereichs, kann aber nicht alle Verletzun- gen verhindern. RICHTIGE EINSTELLUNGEN Der Rucksack kann die gewünschte Schutzwirkung nur entfalten und auch im Falle eines Sturzes seine Position beibehalten, wenn er korrekt eingestellt wird und die Gurte vollständig geschlossen sind. - Seite 8 BELADUNG Ski, Snowboard, Schneeschuhe, Pickel oder Skistöcke können am Rucksack entsprechend der Abbildungen auf dem separaten Produkt-Anhänger befes- tigt werden. ACHTUNG Außen angebrachte, überstehende Gegenstände können die Schutzwirkung des Rucksacks negativ beeinflussen und bergen Verletzungsgefahren! Eine zu schwere Beladung des Rucksacks sollte unbedingt vermieden wer- den.

GARANTIE Wir erklären uns gegenüber Ersterwerbern von ORTOVOX Rucksäcken bereit, auftretende Material- und Verarbeitungsmängel durch kostenlosen Ersatz oder fachgerechte Reparatur bis 2 Jahre nach dem Kaufdatum zu beseitigen. Ausgenommen sind normale Verschleißerscheinungen, bzw. Schäden durch unsachgemäße Benutzung oder Sturz. FIELD OF USE The FREE RIDER series with SPS-back-protector is especially made for the risks of skiers and snowboar- ders who ride outside the marked slopes. If you respect these instructions for use these backpacks give a certain protection and reduce therefore the risk of being injured in case of falling or crashing into an obstacle. - Seite 17 This personal protection equipment (PSA) has been tested according to the EU-standards 89/686/EWG and has been marked with the CE-sign. That means that it gives a limited protection within the field of use, but cannot avoid all injuries. CORRECT ADJUSTMENT The backpack can only give the desired protection and keep its position in the case of an accident, if it is adjusted correctly and the belts are completely closed.

CAUTION Objects which are attached on the outside of the backpack and are longer than the backpack can have a negative influence on the protective functions of the backpack and can involve danger of injuries! It should absolutely be avoided to pack the backpack with heavy weight.
- Seite 19 USE OF CHAIRLIFTS While using a chairlift the backpack has to be removed and, the same as for the ski-bar lifts, it has to be paid attention that the straps and belts don‘t get caught anywhere. That means that there is no protection given while using the lift.
- Seite 20 DURABILITY If the backpack is stored and used according to the instructions, the protecti- ve function of the back protector is not losing quality for a long time. Anyway it is recommended to exchange the protector after 3-5 years. You can find the manufacturing date in the main compartment of your back- pack.

WARRANTY If there should appear material or workmanship faults when a client buys a new ORTOVOX-backpack, we are willing to replace it free of charge or to repair it expertly 2 years after the date of purchase.
