Pressure Sensing

The machine provides the possibility of automatically
producing a switch-off signal by means of pressure
sensing when the torque setting is reached. This
switch-off signal serves, for example, for controlling a
conveyer belt and documentation of the bolting ac-
tions during fabrication or controls the bolt feeding for
an automatic bolting machine.
The pressure sensing is possible only in right
rotation of the machine.

The pressure sensing reacts to the switching off of the
clutch and produces the switch-off signal.
Connecting for Pressure Sensing
Unscrew the glued-in M5 Allen screw 11.
Be careful that no dirt enters the open
drilling.
Attach the signal hose for
pressure sensing with the
hose connection piece 18
to the machine.

Take care when connect-
ing a signal hose that no
leakage air can escape
what would otherwise fal-
sify the signal.
The disassembly takes place in the reverse order. Se-
cure the Allen screw 11 with Loctite 221.
Extraction of the Exhaust Air
Slide the exhaust air hose (combined) for pistol
configuration 5 over the air supply 6 and the hose con-
nection piece 7 as well as the silencer of sintered metal
on the air outlet 8 and attach to the housing.
Connection to the Extraction Equipment
After removing the silencer 8, a hose can be connect-
ed to the air outlet that leads away the exhaust air.

Insertion Tools
For the associated insertion tools, see the Bosch cata-
logues for pneumatic tools and accessories for elec-
tro-tools.
Before performing any work on the machine it-
self, disconnect the air supply.
Keep the machine and the tool holder clean at all
times.
If the machine should happen to fail despite the care
taken in manufacture and testing, repair should be
carried out by an authorised customer services agent
for Bosch pneumatic tools.
For all correspondence and spare parts orders, always
include the 10-digit order number of the machine.
Clean regularly the screen on the air inlet of the ma-
chine. For this purpose, unscrew the hose connection
piece 7 and remove dust and dirt particles from the
screen. Then firmly remount the hose connection
piece.
