NOXON Journaline
Scan stations
Press the Scan button (10) on the control panel in order to start scanning the available
stations automatically. Your Radio scans the complete frequency range and then writes
the stations it has found into the station list. This comes in very handy, because this way
you do not have to execute the scan process over and over again.
Show station list
Press the navigation wheel (1) shortly. Start turning it and you will see the list of available
stations, which you can choose from by pressing the navigation wheel on the one you
would like to listen to.
Prune station list
If your DAB+/DAB station list contains stations which have a question mark in front of
their name, the reception situation has changed since the last recent station scan, with
the effect that the marked station can currently not be received anymore. If you would
like to clear such marked stations from the station list, please use the "Prune" function in
the System Setup menu.
Journaline
Journaline is a text-based information service designed for digital broadcasting systems.
It provides up-to-date text-based information similar to that offered by an electronic mag-
azine or newspaper. The information is structured in the form of topics and sub-topics
that are easily accessible via a menu structure.
If a radiostation provides journaline it will be shown with an additional icon [J] in the
display. You can access the journaline menu through the information button „i" (long
press) on the control panel. Using the navigation wheel you can choose the topics and
access the individual submenus and content.
If you see a loading bar next to the topic the content is not fully loaded yet. Depending
on the content it can take some time until you can access the menu then. In the list of
the radiostations you may will find stations without audio. This stations provide data
only. Again here you can access the data while pressing the „i" button on the control-
panel.
