5. To switch it off, turn the shaker anticlockwise. Wait until the blades have come to a
standstill, then remove from the motor unit.
6. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket.
7. Turn over the shaker and unscrew the blade attachment.
8. Serve the blended food.
9. Clean the blade attachment and shaker immediately after each use to prevent germ
formation (see the "Cleaning and Care" chapter). Do not allow food residues to dry on.

Cleaning and Care

NOTE!
■ CAUTION – Danger of Injury from Sharp Blades! Never grasp the blades by the
cutting surfaces, but only by the holders.
■ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads. These could
damage the surfaces.
1. Make sure that the device is disconnected from the mains power!
2. If required, wipe down the motor unit (3) with a slightly damp cloth. Then dry it with
a soft cloth.
3. Rinse the blade attachment (2, 4) and shaker (1, 5) with clear, warm water and a little
mild detergent. The shakers can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.
4. Allow all parts to dry completely before they are reassembled and stored away.

Storage

• Check the mains cable regularly for any damage.
• Do not wrap the mains cable around the device (danger of the cable breaking).
• When not in use the device should be stored in a cool, dry place which is not acces-
sible to children and animals.
3. Turn the shaker upside down, and insert it with the blade at-
tachment fi rst into the motor unit (3). Make sure that the three
locking lugs are recessed in the matching grooves in the motor
unit.
4. To switch on, turn the shaker clockwise until it locks into place.
During operation, always hold the motor unit fi rmly with one
hand.
