The calibration phase is indicated by approx. 15 s long continuous illumination of the
WC sensor LED.
Following calibration the sensor system is immediately ready for use. The fastest way to
test this is by triggering the manual flushing.
Indication: Depending on the GEBERIT cistern control, the very first flushing
mechanism can correspond to a large flushing volume, even if the actual circumstances
form the basis of a small flushing volume.

4. Settings:

The HEWI WC sensor does not usually require any further settings. However, if
necessary the range of the default values can be individually set to a lower level.
If the DIP switch is set in the down position, manual flushing only is possible at any
time. Flushing occurs immediately after the Plexiglas panel is touched. A small flush
occurs if the user stays within the sensing range for less than 90 s. A large flush occurs
if they are detected within this range for longer than 90 s. If the DIP switch is set in the
up position, automatic (no-contact) / manual flushing is active.
This means that if the toilet is not flushed manually, the flushing mechanism is initiated
30 s after the user has left the sensing field. The time for differentiating between the
quantity of water used for each flush remains the same as for purely manually flushing.
The sensing range is approx. 60 cm (space monitoring). If automatic flushing is set,
manual flushing is possible at any time.
