Auto Store (AS)
To select si strong stations and store them in the current band:
1 Select a band (if needed)
2 Touch the AS icon on the on-screen controls to acti ate the Auto Store function
The ne stations replace stations already stored in that band If you ha e already set
the preset memories to your fa orite stations, acti ating the Auto Store feature ill
erase those stations and enter the ne strong stations This feature is most useful
hen tra elling in an area here you are not familiar ith the local stations
Preview Scan (SCAN)
To scan the AM or FM band for a pre ie of a ailable stations in your particular area,
touch Scan The scan function ill play the rst e seconds of each station When a
desired station is reached, touch Scan again Play of the selected station ill continue
and the pre ie scan ill stop
Local Radio Station Seeking (LOC)
When the Local function is on, only radio stations ith a strong local radio signal are
played To acti ate the Local function in the AM/FM tuner mode:
1 Touch the Options icon on the touch screen A pop-up indo appears
2 Touch MODE LOC/DX to turn the local function on or off
When the Local function is acti e, the LOC indicator at the top of the screen is
illuminated When the Distant function is acti e, the DX indicator at the top of the
screen is illuminated
