are marked with the general symbol in accordance with
DIN 4844-W 9.
Warnings against electrical voltage are marked with
the safety symbol in accordance with DIN 4844-W 8.

2.2. General Safety Precautions

General regulations and guidelines not mentioned in the
safety warnings retain their validity.
These operating instructions contain basic instruc-
tions, which have to be adhered to during installation, op-
eration and maintenance. These operating instructions
must be read from mechanic and the operator before in-
stallation and operation of the pump and have to be kept
available at the operating place of the machine/unit at all
times. Persons who are not familiar with the operating in-
structions shall not use this product.
Children and adolescents under age 16 shall not use
the unit and must keep away from the machine/unit
while it is operational.
The unit must be installed from a technical experi-
enced plumber.
Never work alone.
Please make sure that used aids e.g.hoisting crane
are in regular and reliable contiditions.
The working area has to be closed off expediently
and must adhere to local workplace regulations.
Always use personal safety equipment such as safety
boots, rubber gloves, safety glasses and helmet.
Make sure that the emergency exit from the work-
place is not barricaded.
To prevent suffocation and poisoning caused by
venomous gases, make sure that enough oxygen exists
at the workplace.
If you have to work with welding tools or electric tools,
make sure that there is no explosion hazard.
Immediately after repair or maintenance work, all
safety and protection equipment must be reinstalled and
placed in function again.
The operator of the pump is responsible for third
parties within the work area.
All other rules and regulations and local codes cover-
ing health and safety must be observed. In accordance
with product liability law, we point out that we shall not be
liable for damages caused by the pump due to non-

the operating instructions. The same product liability are
valid for accessories.
3. Application and technical description

3.1. Application

The pump station Saniquick UFT is used for removal of
clear water and waste water from hand basins, washing
machines, showers or bath and cellar de-watering in
rooms below the sewer level (For pumping of sewage wa-
ter we recommend our lifting station Sanistar).

3.2 Product description

The pump station for under-floor installation consists of a
collecting tank, 2 pumps and installation kit, 3 inlets DN
100, a connecting piece DN 70 for air vent and cable duct
The frame with adjustable height to adapt the cover plate
to the floor level is odour tight.
The pumps are designed for pumping clean and drainage
water with solid sizes up to 10 mm (C235-C290), 20 mm
(CR360V) and 28mm (TP28).
The pumps must not be used for pumping of liquids
containing great quantities of abrasive solids, like sand
or stones.
Before pumping of chemically aggressive liquids, the
resistance of the pump materials must be checked.
The controllers incorporate contactors, a pc-board with
light-emitting diodes (LEDs) for indication of operating
condition and a level switch which, via a hose, is operated
by the liquid level in the collecting tank.
The LEDs indicate:
- Pump operation
- Phase sequence fault (three-phase only)
- Fault
- Alarm
A thermal switch incorporated in the motor windings will
protect the motor from overheating by cutting off the sup-
ply to the pump via the controller.
A back-up accumulator maintaining the alarm signal in
case of supply failure is available as an accessory. The
accumulator is fitted inside the controller via a plug and
ensures that an alarm can be given within 15 hours after
the electricity supply has been switched off.
The accumulator is fully charged on delivery. The charg-
ing time is approx. 100 hours. The accumulator is auto-
matically charged when the electricity supply is switched
on.
Note: Used up accumulators must be disposes of in ac-
cordance with local regulations.
Three-phase controllers incorporate a phase monitoring
function which does not, however, prevent the motor from
starting in the event of wrong phase sequence of the
mains connection.
In addition to the LEDs, the controller front cover features:
- Function selector with the positions: 'Test' (manuell
operation), 'Aus' (turn off) and 'Auto' (automatic opera-
tion).
- On/off switch for built-in acoustic alarm.
