Switching the device on and off

The device is switched on and off using the button ON/OFF
the device is switched on, the camera will be in record mode and the
video recording will begin automatically.
If the device is connected via an on-board socket (cigarette lighter)
which is switched on and off by means of the vehicle ignition, the re-
cording will begin automatically and will end when there is no longer
any charge in the socket.
If this is not the case, the connector will have to be removed and the
camera switched off automatically.
If the device is supplied by means of the charging cable, the button
ON/OFF will be lit up in red.

Display

The display can be rotated and turned for optimum visibility.
It reproduces the camera's area of exposure. It also displays different in-
formation such as mode, resolution, time stamp, battery status, etc. and
allows menu settings to be adjusted.
 The video recording is independent from the position of the display and
operates even when the display is retracted.
The display automatically switches off when it is retracted.
! Do not allow yourself to be distracted by the display; always focus di-
rectly on the traffic situation.
! Close the display before embarking on a journey to avoid any distraction.
