Bracket

• Loosen all the screw fastenings on the bracket, twist the cap nut on
the screw thread until it reaches the bottom and release the lever on
the suction plate.
• Screw the bracket thread into the screw socket on the CarDVR, align
the device and secure the contact with the cap nut so that the device
is connected firmly in line with the bracket.
• Position the device with the bracket on the windscreen. Press the suction
plate against the window and tighten the lever on the suction plate.
• Align the CarDVR and tighten the screw fittings on the bracket.
! Position the device so that it does not restrict your line of vision.
Make sure that the surface of the suction plate and the windscreen
!
are clean, not steamed up and not greasy. Clean and remove any
grease from the mounting surfaces if necessary.
! Ensure that the device is attached firmly before each journey.

Power supply connection

• Connect the charging cable to the device and to a suitable 12V or
24V on-board network socket.
Arrange the charging cable so that it does not restricted you.

! Only use the charging cable supplied as this cable transforms the on-
board voltage from 12 ... 24 V to 5.5 V!

Operating the device

 The device will be operational after the accumulator and SD card have
been inserted, the device has been attached by means of the bracket
and the charging cable has been connected.
The device must only be used for its specified purpose.

Check the device prior to use to detect any potential damage. Do not
!
use the device if operating safety is not guaranteed.
Do not allow the device to distract you from the traffic situation.
