4.1 Filling the SideStream nebulizer
with your medication
Make sure that you have had instructions about
the use of your medication.
Unscrew the base of the SideStream drug

Put the medication into the base of the

SideStream drug container. For more
stability when filling medication, use the
post on Porta-neb to hold the SideStream
nebulizer.
Screw the top of the SideStream nebulizer

back onto the base.
Connect one end of the Duratube onto the

air flow outlet on your Porta-neb.
Then, push the other end of the Duratube

onto the stem at the bottom of your
SideStream drug container.
Now connect either the mouthpiece or

the mask to the top of the SideStream drug
container.
