16. Setting

This is how to get to "Setting".
Choose the menu item "Setting" in the main menu.
• Open the "Setting" menu item.
• You will reach the submenu. Choose the desired menu item: "System time,"
"Backlight," "Language," "Tool," "Contrast," "Firmware version," "Reset Setting".
• Choose "Exit" to return to the main menu.
a) System time
You can set the current date and time with this menu item.
• Choose "System time".
• Set the correct year with the
• Press the M button (1) to enter the month setting. Set the month and press the
M button (1).
• Proceed in the same way with the days, hours, minutes and seconds.
• After you have set the seconds and pressed the M button (1), you automatically
return to the menu above.
• To end the time setting immediately, press the Power/Play button (2).

b) Backlight / Key lock

You can set the duration of the backlight in seconds with this menu item. As
soon as the backlight goes out, the key lock is activated. It can be unlocked with
any button.
• Open the "Backlight" menu item.
• You can activate the backlight permanently. For this, set the value to 00 with the aid
of the -/+ buttons (3, 4).
• You can select the duration of the backlight in steps of 10. With the aid of the
-/+ buttons (3, 4), set a value between 10 and 100 seconds.
• Confirm the time with the M button (1). You automatically return to the menu above.
The backlight switches off if no button is pressed during the set time interval.
