12. Connecting the storage medium

Switch the radio off to remove or replace the USB flash drive / microSD card.
Never remove the USB flash drive / microSD card during replay. Data on the
USB flash drive / microSD card could be destroyed by that. There is a danger
that the USB flash drive / microSD card could thus no longer be read. There
is no liability for any loss of data.
a) Plugging in / removing the microSD card
• Carefully insert the card in the microSD card slot (6). Note the orientation of the
card – it can only be inserted in one position. The card snaps into place in the card
slot.
• Switch the device off before removing the card.
• To remove the card, lightly press the card down until the lock is released. The card
can then be removed.
Never insert the card by force.

b) Connecting / removing the USB stick

Due to the great variety of devices with USB interfaces, their different
technical specifications (e.g. reading speed) and their sometimes very
manufacturer-specific functions, it cannot be guaranteed that all media will
be recognized or that all possibilities of operation are available with this
device. For this reason, use only USB flash drives.
• Plug the USB stick into the USB port (7) on the product.
• Switch the device off before removing the USB stick.
