9. Switching on/off

• Press the Power/Play button (2) and hold it down to switch the device on. The
"Welcome" screen appears and then the LC display (5) indicates the set time.
• Press the Power/Play button (2) and hold it down to switch the device off. The end
screen appears and the product switches off.

10. Connecting the headset

• Plug a headset with 3.5 mm jack into the headset connection (10).
• Start the replay and slowly increase the volume to the desired level. (See section 18)

11. Operate the portable radio as a loudspeaker

The product is suitable for an audio device that has a 3.5 mm jack output.
Connect the 3.5 mm jack of the audio device to the AUX connection (8) on the product.
The portable radio will change to loudspeaker mode automatically. The radio does now
operate as a loudspeaker.
