Avoid injuries, damages and malfunction by
following all instructions.
a) ATELIER F/R – Panic Locks for all-glass doors of Wilh.
Schlechtendahl & Söhne GmbH & Co.KG (hereinafter
referred to as WSS) are designed for installation of single
leaf doors.
b) Before installation of the emergency exit- or panic
device onto a glass door, please check if this door is
suitable for the installation of the panic device. Before
installation of the emergency exit- or panic device
onto a fire resistant- or smoke control door, it must be
checked whether the emergency exit device is suitable
and approved for this particular door (see enclosure B,
DIN EN 1125 and DIN EN 179).
c) Only persons who are familiar are permitted to install
and maintain the panic locks. They must be tasked
with the installation and the maintenance by the con-
tractor.
d) They must know the relevant standards and regula-
tions (e.g. DIN EN 1125, DIN EN 179, etc. ..) and have
to be instructed accordingly. They must have read
and understood the assembly instruction provided by
WSS.
e) If more than one person is in charge of any of the
above works, the contractor must designate a person
who is authorised to supervise.
f)
Only use immaculate components, locks, fittings, etc.
g) Check all parts for completeness and immaculate quality
before assembly.
