Having chosen this sunbed, you have opted for a well engineered, high performance unit. Your sunbed has been
manufactured with the utmost care and precision, constantly monitored by a whole raft of quality and safety
checks. We have done everything possible in order to ensure that the unit works reliably and safely. You however
can also make an important contribution to the long-term satisfactory function of your sunbed. By carefully
reading and following all the information in these Operating Instructions, your sunbed will provide a great deal of
pleasure and enjoyment. Should you nevertheless experience a problem with the unit, then please write or simply

Service

In all questions relating to servicing the unit and procuring spare parts, please contact your sunbed dealer or our
Customer Services direct, Tel: ++49 2224/818-861, Fax: ++49 2224/818-205. Before contacting our
Technical Service by telephone, please have the serial number of the sunbed to hand for the customer support or
spare parts in question. We shall only be able to deal with your query straight away if you can quote the serial
number. Without it, service engineer visits cannot be arranged nor spare parts ordered.

The design of this Soltron sunbed complies with the following directives:

Warning!
We must point out that these sunbeds are intended for the European market only and must not be
exported to the USA or Canada and operated there. No liability will be accepted if this warning is
ignored. It is expressly pointed out that any violation of this ban may subject the exporter and/or
operator to a high risk of liability.

Proper use

This equipment is designed for the purposes of acquiring a sun tan by an adult with a skin suitable for sun
tanning. "Proper use" also includes compliance with all instructions and regulations contained in these Operating
Instructions. In addition to these Operating Instructions, please follow the general, statutory and other regulations
and laws - including those of the country in which the equipment is operated - and current environmental
legislation! The current local regulations of the Trade Association or other supervisory authorities must always be
observed!
Audio frequency blocking filters
The capacitors fitted inside the sunbed to compensate for reactive current may adversely affect the power supply
company's high-frequency control signals superimposed on the mains supply network.
In some cases, depending on location, this may occur in particular if the power supply company uses central
ripple control systems (audio frequency ripple control system - referred to below as AF ripple control system).
The rated control frequency differs from power supply company to power supply company.
Audio frequency blocking filters cannot be factory fitted because it is not known in each individual case whether
an AF ripple control system is in operation and which frequency it is transmitting on. We refer to the „Technical
Conditions of Connection" of the power supply company concerned. The sunbed operator is responsible for
installing any necessary audio frequency blocking filters in the building wiring system!
