Recycling

-
This symbol on a product means that the product is covered by
European Directive 2012/19/EU (Fig. 2).
-
This symbol means that the product contains a built-in rechargeable
battery covered by European Directive 2006/66/EC which cannot be
disposed of with normal household waste. Follow the instructions in
section 'Removing the rechargeable battery' to remove the battery (Fig. 3).
-
Inform yourself about the local separate collection system for
electrical and electronic products and rechargeable batteries. Follow
local rules and never dispose of the product and rechargeable
batteries with normal household waste. Correct disposal of old
products and rechargeable batteries helps prevent negative
consequences for the environment and human health.
-
All plastic parts are marked with recycle symbols (Fig. 4).

Removing the rechargeable batteries

Note: Always remove the rechargeable batteries before you hand in the device
at an official collection point. If you have trouble removing the batteries, you
can also take the device to a Philips service centre, which will remove the
battery pack for you and will dispose of it in an environmentally safe way.
1
Make sure the rechargeable batteries are empty. Switch on the
device as often as is necessary until you are no longer able to
switch it on because the batteries have run out completely.
2
Insert the tip of a flat-head screwdriver between upper and lower
shell at the micro-USB socket.
Note: This action destroys the device and must only be executed if you intend
to discard the device.
3
Turn the screwdriver to separate the two shells.
Note: You may have to insert and turn the screwdriver a few times to break
the two shells loose from each other.
4
When the shells have come apart, use the screwdriver to remove
the batteries. Dispose of the plastic parts and the batteries
separately according to local rules
