Installation and connection
• Remove the handset (C) from your
phone. Consult on the matter the op-
erating instructions for your phone.
Leave the coiled cable plugged into
the handset but disconnect it from the
phone.
• Connect the plug at the end of the
coiled cable of the handset with the
socket (9) of the switch (A).
• Connect the socket (8) of the switch
with the phone (B) using the supplied
cable.
• Connect the headset (D) that you use
with the socket (6) of the switch (A).
• Remove the cover sliding it in the di-
rection of the arrow (see image on the right).
• Y ou will find two buttons (4 and 5) under the cover.
You can adjust the switch by these buttons to the phone and/or headset
you use.
The best way of adjustment is making a call (by some nearby phone,
e.g., a mobile) to test the switch positions until you reach the optimum
audio connection.
Put the lower slide switch (5) into position "A" and the upper slide switch (4) into position "1".
Now check the audio connection using the handset.
As a test, change positions of both slide switches. In this way, 8 different settings are possible
in total.
Due to a great variety of telephones, we cannot provide you an example of an opti-
mum combination, so you will have to find it yourself.
• Put the switch to a place, which will allow you to access the controls easily. Protect the
surfaces of valuable furniture by using an appropriate underlay to avoid scratches and discol-
ouration. The cable can be fixed with cable ties.
I f desired, the switch can be fixed onto or near the phone by an adhesive tape or a similar
item. However, it may cause discolouration on the phone housing or installation site.
