An exclamation point in a triangle indicates important information
in the operating instructions. Please read the instructions com-
pletely as they contain information for the correct operation of the
device.
• For reasons of safety and licensing, it is not permitted to arbitrarily convert or mod-
ify the product.
• Only a 12V onboard direct voltage may be used as a power supply (negative bat-
tery pole connected to the auto body). Never connect the amplifier and subwoofer
with any other voltage supply.
• Ensure that the device is properly started up. Follow these operating instructions in
this regard.
• Never pour liquids or place liquid-containing objects (e.g. vases) onto electrical
devices. This poses the highest danger of fire or lethal electrical shock. Should
such a situation arise, immediately disconnect from the power supply and contact
a specialist.
• Do not place the devices under the influence of high temperatures, dripping or
spraying water, strong vibrations or high mechanical stresses.
• Do not set sources of fire, such as burning candles, on the devices.
• Please contact an expert in case you have any doubts about the operation, safety
or connection of the devices.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around. Plastic wrapping/bags,

Maintenance
Regularly inspect the mechanical safety of the and its power supply for damage, e.g.
to connection cables or housing.
If it has been ascertained that safe operation is no longer possible, take the device
out of operation and secure it against accidental reactivation. Disconnect (unclamp)
onboard power!
It is ascertained that safe operation is no longer possible, if:
• the device shows visible damage
• the device no longer functions, or
• after heavy mechanical stresses.
Make sure you observe the following safety instructions prior to cleaning or
servicing the auto amplifier:
When opening the covers or removing parts of the casing, you
may expose live parts.
Therefore you have to disconnect the amplifier from all voltage
sources and connections prior to performing maintenance or
repair work.
Condensers in the device may still be charged, even if the device
has been disconnected from all voltage sources.
A repair may only be performed by a specialist familiar with the
associated hazards and associated regulations for the device(s).
If a fuse change is required, make the replacement with a fuse of the designated type
and current rating (see "Technical data").
Patching or shorting fuses is prohibited.
• After successfully disconnecting from the power supply (unclamp vehicle power!),
carefully pull out the fuse (15, FUSE) from the fuse bracket.
• Replace the fuse with one of the same type.
• Now reconnect the amplifier with the vehicle power connection and continue oper-
ation.
Disposal
Dispose the unusable devices according to valid regulations.
