Now adjust the satellite speakers' vol-
ume with the REAR GAIN (5) controller
on the subwoofer.
After this adjustment, set the auto radio
volume controller to the middle position.
To achieve an optimal sound, you can
now slightly adjust the levels with the
REAR LPF (3) and FRONT HPF (11) con-
trollers.
With weak bass playback, you can acti-
vate dual-level bass amplification using
the SUPER BASS (4) switch.
Handling
• An excessive volume in the vehicle interior means the audible warning signals can
no longer be noticed. This endangers you and your passengers. In this regard,
observe a suitable volume.
• Carelessness in traffic can lead to serious accidents. The stereo system may only
be operated if the traffic situation allows and if such operation does not distract
you from traffic activity.
• Do not store any magnetic storage media, e.g. floppy disks, video cassettes, etc.
close to the car speakers, as the speakers' magnetic fields may destroy the data
recorded on these storage media.
• Do not listen to music at an excessive volume over longer periods of time.. This
may damage your hearing

The subwoofer should not vibrate or
have a ringing sound, rather it should
only support the deep bass range of the
satellite speakers.
The volume relation between the sub-
woofer and satellite speakers can also
be contolled from the driver's seat with
the auto radio fader controller if the sys-
tem has four pre-amp outputs.
The total volume now depends on the
volume set on the auto radio.
Once again, ensure a clean bass play-
back.
Also try to reverse the speaker and sub-
woofer wires. This often improves any
reversed phasing and provides improved
bass playback (depending on subwoofer
mounting location).

Start-up
To ensure proper start-up, carefully and thouroughly read these
operating instructions with the safety instructions before opera-
tion!
Mechanical installation
Changes to the vehicle for isntalling the amplifier, speakers or
other necessary components, must be performed in such a way
that does not impair the driving safety or structural stability of the
vehicle. With many vehicles, the operating permit becomes void if
a body panel is modified.
If you have doubts about selecting a mounting location, contact
your auto dealer for more information.
Because the amplifier becomes warm under operation, the
mounting location must be heat resistant.
