with F button; the display shows your selection with
dashes. Wait until you again have the moisture
reading and then correct it to the desired reading with
F button. This correction will be saved and it affects all
tests on this scale. On subsequent tests the amount of
correction will be displayed just before moisture
reading, reminding you of the existing correction. You
can remove the correction and return the meter to
factory settings by depressing F button continuously
for 5 seconds when the moisture reading is on the
display.
6. AVERAGE CALCULATION
The average reading of several test results can be
achieved by adding the individual results to the
average register. When the meter displays the
moisture reading, depress F button repeatedly until
is displayed, now the meter will first add the current
result and then display the number of tests accounted
to the register, for example
and then the average moisture content.
You can clear the average register by depressing the F
button when the average reading is displayed. Also
you can display and optionally clear the calculated
average reading, if you keep the F button depressed
when you switch the meter on with P button.
7. CALCULATING BALE DENSITIES
7.1. Rectangular bales
Measure the length, width and height of the bale in
meters. Multiply these figures, the result will be the
volume of the bale in cubic meters. Next find the
weight of the bale. Then divide the weight by the
volume calculated earlier, and you will have the bale
density in kg/m3.
7.2. Large round bales
Measure the diameter and width of the bale in meters.
Square the diameter and divide by 1,273. Multiply the
product of the above by the width. The result will give
you the volume of the bale in cubic meters. Next take
