4.2.2 Fix magnetic unit
- Fix guide plate

If there is a fixing screw of the armature where the guide plate needs
fixing, it can be used for this purpose.

If not, fix the guide plate with the enclosed self-forming M3 screw
which requires a borehole with Æ2.7 mm.
- Attach fixing plate
The fixing plate must be pressed in so that the play between the adapter plate and the bolt is at a
minimum. Depending on the bolt diameter, the tip of the opening can either point downward or
upward (see illustration below).
The fixing plate should fit correctly at the first attempt (distortion)!
Now it should be possible to move the adapter plate synchronous with the locking bolt into all
positions without being impeded. Ensure that the adapter plate moves smoothly and is always
moved parallel to the locking rods when the lock is activated. This is particularly important with
horizontally attached adapter plates.
