5. Conduct in case of emergency

In cases of fire hazard, electrical shock, mechanical damage, unusual operating conditions or

misuse, proceed as follows:
1. Unplug the power cord. With direct connection: Switch off the circuit breaker or unscrew
the fuse.
2. Secure against accidental switching on.

6. Troubleshooting and repairs

Malfunction
The device does not start
Air output is insufficient
Do not take any further action; contact customer service instead.

7. Maintenance

DANGER
Live electrical supply line and device components!
Risk of deadly electric shock in case of contact.
Before performing any work on the device:
1. Unplug the power cord. With direct connection: Switch off the circuit breaker or
unscrew the fuse.
2. Secure against accidental switching on.

Cleaning the air intake grille

CAUTION
The device can become detached from the mounting plate!
Risk of injury caused by the device falling down.
The locking screw for the air intake grille also serves to fasten the device to the
mounting plate.
If the locking screw is not properly tightened:
1. Ensure that the device cannot be accidentally pushed off of the mounting plate.
Cause
Sensor is soiled
Overheating due to blocked out-
let opening
Air intake grille is soiled

Remedy
Remove dirt from the sensor
and wipe with damp cloth
Clean out the outlet opening,
allow the device to cool down
Clean the air intake grille
