3. Installation
1. Observe the installation height and minimum distances.

2. Have suitable fastening material to hand for installation on the wall.
3. Use the mounting plate as a template on the wall to mark the drill holes.
4. Drill the holes.
5. Fasten the mounting plate on the wall.

Installing the device

DANGER
Live electrical supply line and device components!
Risk of deadly electric shock in case of contact.
Before performing any work on the device:
1. Unplug the power cord. With direct connection: Switch off the circuit breaker or
unscrew the fuse.
2. Secure against accidental switching on.
Observe the following conditions for the electrical connection:
• Only connect the device to a properly installed grounded socket.
• With fixed connection: The supply line must have a switch-off device, e.g. a circuit breaker
that can be switched off or a screw-in fuse.
• Connect the device to an electrical supply line with a residual current circuit breaker.
• Do not connect other loads to the electrical supply line of the device.
CAUTION
The device can become detached from the mounting plate!
Risk of injury caused by the device falling down.
The locking screw for the air intake grille also serves to fasten the device to the
mounting plate.
If the locking screw is not properly tightened:
1. Ensure that the device cannot be accidentally pushed off of the mounting plate.
1. Unscrew the locking screw on the air intake grille on the underside of the device.
2. Pull the air intake grille downwards out of the device.
3. Remove the electric terminal cover.
4. Connect the electrical supply line to the terminal, see Fig. F.
