Inserting and removing the batteries
Open the battery compartment on the rear of
the housing and insert 1 x 1.5V LR03 (AAA).
Correct polarity must be observed. Replace the
battery compartment cover. The device can now
be switched on. The device must be switched off
before removing the batteries.

Allow the device to adjust for 20 minutes after changing
measurement location!

For measurements outside of the measuring range,
the device displays „HI" or „LO".
MAX / MIN / CLR
To determine the maximum or minimum measurement values
during a measurement, press and hold the „MIN / MAX" button
for approx. 1 second until either „MAX" or „MIN" appears on
the display. Normal measuring mode is set when neither function
is flashing in the display. To manually clear the MIN and MAX rea-
dings, press the "CLR" button for approx. 1 second. In addition,
the values are automatically deleted when the device is switched off.

Automatic switch-off

After 3 minutes of inactivity, the product enters power-saving
mode and switches off automatically. To disable this function,
press and hold both the power button and the MAX/MIN button
for approx. 2 seconds.
