• Do not attach anything to the frame.
• Never leave accumulations of water or leaves on the roof as there is a serious risk it will bend
the frame.
• Do not stay in the pergola in case of storms.
• Do not touch moving parts during operation.
• Do not place anything on the blades.
• Do not climb on the slats.
• Do not operate the roof mechanism in the event of frost or ice formation, as this could damage
the blade drive mechanism.

1/ SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

For the safety of those around you, please read all the safety recommendations below carefully :
• This product should be assembled by a competent adult.
• Read the manufacturer's instructions before using the product.
• Keep children and pets away from the work area while the awning is being assembled and
installed.
• Keep all plastic bags in a safe place. Keep them out of the reach of children.
• Ensure that the pergola complies with local building regulations.
• Always wear work shoes, gloves and appropriate eye protection when working.
• Before installing the pergola, unpack all components and check that there are no missing parts.
• Check that your product is not damaged.
• Keep the assembly area clean and dry.
• Do not assemble in bad weather.
• Take care to install your pergola on a flat and stable surface.
• Position properly on level ground and securely anchor each leg to the ground in a weatherproof
location.
• You are strongly advised to make sure it is solidly fixed to the ground in a place sheltered from
bad weather.
• Do not install the awning in a windy location or in places exposed to high temperatures (e.g. near
a chimney).
• Check the joints regularly.
• Do not force connections during assembly.
• Check all the pieces. If some are missing or faulty, please contact us.
• Only use ladders and scaffolding with a sufficiently high load-bearing capacity.
• Only use spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
• Keep clothing and body parts away from the pergola to prevent them getting caught in moving
parts.
• Working at height can be dangerous. Always wear protective clothing to avoid injury in the event
of a fall.
• Leaves and other foreign objects on the slats and in the guide rails must be removed regularly to
prevent damage to the pergola.
• In the event of wind or snowfall, place the slats in a vertical position to prevent damage.
• Hanging objects on the pergola can cause serious damage and is not permitted.
• Sweeek will not be held responsible for any damage due to improper installation or bad weather.
• Installing accessories of any other brand will invalidate the product warranty and may damage
the operation of the appliance.
• It is forbidden to modify the design or configuration of the equipment without consulting the
manufacturer or its authorised representative.
There are strict requirements for the installation of this pergola. Do not hesitate to call a professional
if :
- You are not sure whether the pergola can be installed in your desired location.
- You do not understand the assembly instructions or the different components of this product.
- You do not have the necessary tools.
- You do not have the appropriate technical knowledge to install this kind of product.
