CAUTION
To reduce the risk of burns, electric shock and fire, this product must be used in accordance
with the following instructions.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.
1. This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by a
person responsible for their safety.
2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
3. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
4. The product must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
5. When storing the product, allow it to cool down before folding.
6. Do not crease the product by placing items on top of it during storage.
7. Examine the product frequently for signs of wear or damage.
8. The product is for home use only and is not intended for any medical, diagnostic, or
therapeutic purposes. Its design and function are solely focused on daily comfort and
relaxation, rather than any medical use.
9. Do not use the product if wet.
10. This product must not be used by persons insensitive to heat and other very vulnerable
persons who are unable to react to overheating.
11. The product is not to be used by young children over the age of three unless the
controls have been pre-set by a parent or guardian, or the child has been adequately
instructed on how to operate the controls safely.
12. Do not use if folded or creased.
13. Do not use this product with an infant, an immobile person, or a person with poor blood
circulation.
14. Do not tuck in the wired area of this product.
15. Do not use dry-cleaning fluid on this pad, cleaning solvents may have a deteriorating
effect on the insulation of the heating element.
16. Do not route electrical cords on the pad. Do not allow the cords to be pinched.
17. When in use, keep the control away from drafty areas that may become damp or wet
such as an open window.
18. Do not poke the product with pins - They may damage the electric wiring.
19. Be sure that this product is used on an alternating-current supply circuit of the proper
voltage.
20. Turn off or unplug when not in use.
21. Excessive heating may result from folding pad when in actual use.
22. If improper operation of this product is observed, discontinue its use immediately and
consult RENPHO Customer Service regarding its repair.
23. Do not tuck the product or supply cord in a sofa or other furniture. All portions of the
product should be visible at all times.
24. Wrapping of the cord around the controller may damage the cord. Loop loosely when
storing.
