1.3 Produktbeschreibung
Die Lastabschaltung AM 830 ist die Steuerelektronik für Feu-
erschutz- und Rauchschutzvorhänge. Die mikroprozessorge-
steuerte Steuerelektronik übernimmt die Regelung des
Vorhangsystems wie z. B. Auf- und Abrollvorgänge, Haltebe-
trieb, Abrollposition und die Weiterleitung von Meldungen. Es
können bis zu vier AM 830 parallel geschaltet werden. Die
Steuerelektronik verfügt über eine Vielzahl von Funktionen
wie z. B.
• Abschaltströme über Drehschalter einstellbar
(DR1, DR2)
• Halteströme über Drehschalter einstellbar
(DR1, DR2)
• Individuelle Einstellmöglichkeiten über DIP-Schalter
(SW1)
• Sanftanlauf
• Drehzahlregelung
• Strombegrenzung
• Potentialfreier Meldekontakt
• Abrolllänge des Vorhangs programmierbar
• Verfügt über einen Servicetasteranschluss „AUF", „AB"
• Tandemfunktion (bis zu 4 AM 830 parallel)
• Sicherheits-Öffnung „Not-AUF" des Vorhangs via Taster
oder Schlüsseltaster (zu Fluchtzwecken) bei Alarm-Aus-
lösung und erneutem Schließen nach einer festgelegten
Zeit (einstellbar via SIMON-Link).

1.3 Product description
The AM 830 overload cut-off is the control circuitry for fire and
smoke retarding curtains. The microprocessor-based control
circuitry controls the functions of the curtain system, such as
rewinding and unwinding, holding mode, unwind position and
the forwarding of signals. Up to four AM 830 units can be con-
nected in parallel. The control circuitry has a large number of
functions, such as
• Cut-off currents adjustable by rotary switches
(DR1, DR2)
• Holding currents adjustable by rotary switches
(DR1, DR2)
• Individual setting options by means of DIP switch
(SW1)
• Soft start
• Speed control
• Current limitation
• Dry signal contact
• Unwind length of the curtain is programmable
• Has a service button connection "OPEN", "CLOSE"
• Tandem function (up to 4 AM 830 units in parallel)
• Security opening function "Emergency OPEN" of the cur-
tain (for escape purposes). Activation via push button or
key-operated push button at alarm triggering and auto-
matic closing after a specified time (adjustable via
SIMON-Link).
