7.3 Atmospheric pressure trend
• The trend arrows on the display will show whether the atmospheric
pressure is currently increasing, steady or decreasing:

7.4 Maximum/minimum function
• Press MEM button to show the maximum (MAX) values of indoor and out-
door temperature and humidity. Press MEM button again to show the mini-
mum (MIN) values.
• Press the MEM button again and you will return to normal mode.
• Press and hold the MEM button for 3 seconds when MAX or MIN is dis-
played to reset the values.
• The maximum and minimum values are automatically reset at midnight.
8. Backlight
• Press the LIGHT sensor button to activate the backlight for 10 seconds.

9. Location and mounting
• When placed outdoors, choose a shady and dry place for the transmitter.
Direct sunlight may trigger incorrect measurement and continuous humidi-
ty damages the electronic components needlessly.
• Place the base station in any room of the house. Avoid the vicinity of radia-
tors, other heat sources and direct sunlight.
• Keep a distance of at least 2 metres to possibly interfering sources (TV,
computer, microwave, wireless phones, baby monitors) and large metal
objects (e.g. refrigerator). Within solid walls, especially ones with metal
parts, the transmission range can be reduced considerably.
• Check whether the transmission of the measured values from the transmit-
ter to the base station takes place at the desired installation location.
• If necessary, choose another position for the outdoor transmitter and/or
receiver.
• If the transmission is successful, you can wall mount the outdoor transmit-
ter with the suspension device.
10. Battery replacement
• Change the batteries of the outdoor transmitter, when the battery symbol
appears on the outdoor values display.
• Change the batteries of the base station, when the battery symbol appears
on the indoor values display.
• Please note: When the batteries are changed, the contact between the
transmitter and the receiver must be restored – so always insert new bat-
teries into both devices or start the manual search for the transmitter.
