Wireless Weather Station
• Open the battery compartment of the base station and insert two new AAA
1.5V batteries, polarity as illustrated. All LCD segments will be displayed
for a short moment. The indoor temperature and humidity appear on the
display.
• Open the battery compartment of the transmitter and insert two new AAA
1,5 V batteries. Make sure the polarities are correct.
• Close the battery compartments again.
6.2 Outdoor values reception
• After the batteries are inserted, the outdoor values will be transmitted to the
base station. The reception symbol for the transmitter flashes.
• If the reception of the outdoor values fails, "- -" remains on the base station
display. Check the batteries and try it again. Check if there is any source of
interference.
• You can also start the outdoor transmitter search manually later (e.g. if
the transmitter is lost or if the batteries are changed). Press and hold the
– button for three seconds. The reception symbol of the transmitter flashes
and the base station will scan the outdoor values.
7. Operation
7.1 Manual settings
• Press and hold the SET button for three seconds in normal mode to enter
the setting mode.
• The first adjustable value flashes on the display.

• Use the + or – button to make the desired setting. Press and hold the + or –
button for fast mode.
• Confirm with the SET button and go to the next setting.
• The sequence is shown as follows:
– 24/12-hour format (default: 24HR)
– Hour, minutes
– Weather symbol (default: partly cloudy)
– Temperature unit °C or °F (default: °C)
• Press the SET button to confirm the setting or wait 20 seconds, the unit
will save the setting automatically.
7.2 Weather forecast symbols (Fig. 4)
• For a correct weather forecast the actual weather conditions have to be set
in the setting mode (see 7.1).
• The weather station has 6 different weather symbols (sunny, slightly
cloudy, cloudy, rainy, thunderstorm, snowfall).
• A snow crystal is shown if rain or thunderstorm is forecasted and the out-
door temperature is under -4°C.
• The weather forecast relates to a range of 12 to 24 hours and indicates only
a general weather trend. For example, if the current weather is cloudy and
the rain symbol is displayed, it does not mean the product is faulty because
it is not raining. It simply means that the atmospheric pressure has
dropped and the weather is expected to get worse but not necessarily rain.
• The animated display alternates between the left and right column.
