implied warranty. Warranty is offered besides statutory cus-
tomer rights against the seller which are not affected by this

terY DIsposal reGUlatIons

apply) Please note that if you need to dispose of old batteries,
we ask you do so in accordance with collection and recycling
schemes operated by your local authority. Retailers are offering
free take back of portable batteries to consumers. The disposal
of batteries in your domestic waste is against battery disposal
regulations and thus forbidden (in the European Union). We
also encourage you to return old batteries to us. We will take
them back for free. Please send your return shipment with suf-
ficient postage to the address mentioned below:

Batteries and accumulators containing hazardous substances
are marked clearly with the symbol of a crossed-out waste
container. Furthermore, you will find the chemical names of the
corresponding substances below that symbol. Example: "Pb"
for plumb, "Cd" for cadmium, "Hg" for mercury.
