2-stage emergency light mode:
Stage 1: Reaches the battery capacity between approx.
3% and 10%, light power will be set for safety's sake to the
minimum power switching stage, according to the selected
program. You will not be able to select one of the other light
power switching stages (except low beam).
Stage 2: Starting with a remaining capacity of approx. 3%, the
light output will be set to a special emergency light, until the
light switched off completely. Emergency light mode will be in-
dicated, corresponding to the selected battery condition meter,
via main light (it will flash rapidly 5 times
after pushing the switch) or via the
pulsing red). Note: Escape the emergency light mode within a
few minutes in use as the light is switched off completely in the
next step. How much time is left in the emergency light mode
depends on different circumstances and may differ very much.
We recommend to find out that time period by their own tests.
Stop using the light by night well in advance of the expiration

maIntenanCe anD Care

There are no user serviceable parts inside the solSlight system.
However, certain aspects should be taken into consideration to
ensure a trouble-free running.
Light: Remove dirt with the help of some water. Only use a
mild cleaning agent if necessary. Please note that the light is
not suitable for cleaning with high-pressure cleaners! In the
case of water intake into the lamp housing separate the light
immediately from the battery pack and do not use it until you
are sure that all moisture has been removed. In case of doubt,
please contact our customer support. Proper use will prevent
water intake. Hence, disassembling the housing will not be
necessary. The disassembly of the light will invalidate the
warranty. Please consult our customer support before opening
the light.
Battery: If the solSlight system will not use for an extended
period of time, it is important to recharge the battery up to a
capacity of approximately 55% - 75% prior to storage. Further
