These garments meet the requirements of EN ISO 11611: 2015.
Protective clothing for use in welding and allied processes.
Class 1/2 - A1 or Class 1 - A1 (SOUDAVEP).
Notified body: INTERTEK Italia S.p.A. Via Guido Miglioli 2/A, 20063 Cernusco Sul
Naviglio, Milano (MI) Italy. Notified body n° 2575.
Before each use check make a visual check of the the garment to make sure it is
clean and in perfect state. If the garment is damaged (tears, punctures, breakings...)
it must be replaced.
IMPROPRER USE
The level of protection against flame will be reduced if the welders' protective clothing is
contaminated with flammable materials.
An increase in the oxygen content of the air will reduce considerably the protection of
the welder's protective clothing against flame.
Care should be taken when welding in confined spaces e.g if it is possible that the
atmosphere may become enriched with oxygen.
The electrical insulation provided by clothing will be reduced when the clothing is wet,
dirty of soaked with sweat.
For two-piece protective clothing, both items shall be worn together to provide the
specified level of protection.
This garment is intended for use in addition to protective clothing providing protection
against welding hazards
When using additional partial protective garments, the basic garments shall meet at
least class 1.
Apron should cover the front body of the user at least from side seam to side seam.
INTENDED USE
Selection criteria relating to the process and to the environmental conditions
Class 1- recommended for manual welding techniques with light formation of platters
and drop e.g gas welding, TIG welding, MIG welding (with low current), micro plasma
welding, brazing, spot welding, MIMA welding (with rutile covered electrode) for ope-
ration of machine e.g oxygen cutting machines, plasma cutting machines, machines
for thermal spraying, bench welding.
Class 2 - recommended for manual welding techniques with heavy formation of splat-
ters and drops e.g MIMA welding (with basic or cellulose covered electrode), MAG
welding (with CO 2 or mixed gases), MID welding (with high current), self-shielded
flux cored arc welding, plasma cutting, gouging, oxygen cutting, thermal spraying
for operation of machines e.g in confined spaces, at overhead welding/cutting or
in comparable constrained positions.
This clothing is intended to protect against flames molten metal splatter, radiant heat
and short term, accidental electrical contact.
Warning: For operational reasons not all welding voltages carrying parts of arc
welding installations can be protected against direct contact. Additional partial
body protection may be required e.g for welding overhead. These garments
are only intended to protect against brief inadvertent contact with live parts of
an arc welding circuit, additional electrical insulations layers will be required
where there is an increased risk of electric shock. Garments are designed to
provide protection against short term, accidental contact with live electric
conductors at voltages up to approximately 100 V.d.C.
DISPOSAL
Please dispose of these garments in a responsible manner.
This garment can be incinerated or buried in a controlled landfill without any harm for the
environment. Disposal restrictions depend only upon the possible contaminant in contact
with the garment during use.
AFTERCARE
These items cannot be washed. If the users experience sunburn-like symptoms, UVB
is penetrating. In that case the garment should be replaced and consideration given
to the use of additional, more resistant, protective layers in future.
Hold the garment up about one metre away from a 100W fluorescent lamp. If light
is visible through the garment, then UV light can also penetrate the garment. The
garment must then be discarded.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
Always store in clean, dry conditions. Do not store in place subject to direct strong
sunlight.
This product can be transported without problem in the original packaging.

certified to a European standard, is an absolute guarantee against the risks encoun-
tered. So It is the responsibility of the user to remain extremely careful about the
risks encountered during the activity and to put in place all the means of prevention
prior to the use of a PPE.
