1. In terms of adaptability: Confirm that the gooseneck ball specification
(2-5/16 inches) is compatible with the trailer coupler, and ensure that the
gooseneck ball's load-bearing capacity meets the requirements based
on the total weight of the trailer and cargo, and cannot be overloaded for
use.
2. Clean the installation site: Thoroughly clean the surface of the vehicle
installation site, remove oil stains, rust, dust and other impurities, ensure
that the installation surface is flat and clean, and enhance the fit and
connection stability between the gooseneck ball and the vehicle.
3. Correct positioning and installation: Accurately locate the installation
position of the gooseneck ball on the vehicle, ensuring that the
installation holes are aligned.
4. Check the stability of the connection: After installation, gently shake the
gooseneck ball to check for any looseness or shaking, ensuring a secure
connection.
5. Test traction function: Conduct an empty load test before formally towing
the trailer. Slowly start the vehicle and feel the working condition of the
gooseneck ball under traction. Check for any abnormal noise, vibration,
etc. If any problems are found, promptly investigate and handle them.
