Before First Use
Loosen t hebatterysafetyscrews andopen thebatterycompartment
ontheunderside o fthe scale. R emove t heplasticisolator tabfrom
the batterycompartment (if present) p riorto use. C heck that the
batteryisinserted following the correctpolarity. C lose the battery
compartment andtightenthebatterycompartment screws. Position
the scale on a firm flat surface.
Switching On the Electronic
Toswitchonthescale,press TARE'. Waituntil display shows '0'.
Converting Weight Units
Press ' UNIT' to change b etween g,oz,mland fl. oz.The mland fl. oz
measure s aresuitable forallwater-based liquids, eg.wine, s tock andmilk.

Switching
Toswitch off the scalemanually, p ress'TARE' for 2-3 seconds.
