CAUTION
•
Always use cold water when fi lling the kettle.
•
The water level must be between the marks for minimum and maximum volume. If the kettle is overfi lled
there is a risk of boiling water splashing.
•
Always switch the kettle off before removing it from the base.
•
Always make sure the lid is well closed.
•
The base and the outside of the kettle must not be wet.
•
Only use the kettle in combination with its original base.
USING THE APPLIANCE
We recommend that prior to fi rst use you "boil" the kettle twice with clean water.
1.
Open the lid and fi ll the kettle with water. Do not overfi ll, watch the MAX line located inside the kettle.
2.
Make sure to close the lid after fi lling.
3.
Place the kettle on its base.
4.
After plugging the appliance in the electrical outlet, turn it on using the switch. Lit indicator signals
heating of water.
5.
When the water has reached boiling point, the kettle turns off automatically and the indicator goes off . You
can always switch off the kettle manually.
6.
Do not try to switch on forcibly the kettle immediately after you switched it off , you could damage the
mechanism of the switch. If you need to boil the water in the kettle again, wait a little until the automatic
safety deactivates.
7.
Unplug the cord from the outlet.
8.
Do not open the lid when pouring the water out.
