6. RF (Radio Frequency Measurement) Functions
Press RF to select RF mode, and the meter will display mW/m².
It is mainly used to measure high-frequency radiation near cell
phones and wireless transmission routers, cell towers, microwave
ovens, smart meters, wireless landlines or walkie-talkies, and
wireless TV stations. Measurement band 20MHz~6GHz. It can
measure video signals of current standard 4G and 5G (RF
bandwidth from 600MHz to 6GHz).
The field measurement data of a radio-silent area should be less
than 0.200mW/m².
7. MAX (Maximum Value Function) Applicable to ELEC, MAG,
W_ELEC and W_MAG Measurement Functions.
Press the MAX to activate the MAX function. The meter will display
the MAX symbol.The meter will display the maximum value of the
electric or magnetic field measurement.
PEAK (peak function) it is only used for RF function
Press the PEAK to activate the PEAK function. The meter will
display the PEAK symbol.
The signals sent by cell phones, routers, etc. are sent in pulses,
and the PEAK function captures the maximum signal within 5
seconds. So the PEAK function can accurately measure the
maximum radiation generated by cell phones, routers, etc.The
peak measurement data of a radio silent area should be less
than 1.000 mW/m².
