3. TEMP (Temperature Measurement) Function
Short press the button, the indicator will display the ℃ symbol.
It is used to measure the current ambient temperature. Short
press W/℃/℉ to switch to the ℉ display interface. When using
this function, it needs to be placed at the current ambient temp-
erature for more than 30 minutes to measure.
4. MAG (Magnetic Field Strength) Standard Frequency Mode
Press MAG to select the magnetic field strength mode, the meter
will display the Standard Frequency Response and mG symbol.
The magnetic field strength measurement function is used to
measure the magnetic field radiation emitted by electric motors,
appliances, wires and power lines. The measurement frequency
is 40~200Hz and should be less than 4.0mG in low magnetic field
environment.
5. W/℃/℉ (Electric Field Strength) Weighted Frequency Mode
In the electric field strength measurement mode, short press to
select the electric field weighted frequency mode, and the meter
will display Weighted Frequency Response and V/M symbols.
The electric field strength measurement function is mainly used
to measure the electromagnetic radiation emitted by wires,
lamps, wall sockets, electrical switches and ungrounded electrical
appliances, and the measurement frequency should be greater
than 60Hz. Higher frequencies create more radiation damage in
the body. For example, at 60Hz, the body receives electric field
pulses 60 times per second, and at 120Hz, the body receives
twice as many electric field pulses, or 120 times per second,
although the electric field remains the same, the damage to the
human body is twice that of 60Hz. times. In a home or office where
the electromagnetic environment is quiet, the electric field strength
should be less than 50V/M.
