Cleaning and disinfection
After every use:
Clean the movers seats, shin-support and handles. Wipe using a mild soap solution/surface disinfectant. The
product is not corrosion proof.
Weekly and possibly more often depending on frequency of use:
If necessary, clean the mover with a cloth with warm water or a soap solution and check that the castors are free
from dirt and hair. Ensure that the device is dried thoroughly after cleaning.
If disinfection is needed:
70% ethanol, 45% isopropanol or similar should be used.
Do not steam clean due to risk of corrosion.
Do not use cleaning agents containing phenol or chlorine, as this could damage the materials.
Recycling/Disposal
When the product is no longer usable it should be recycled in accordance with legislation and regulations in the
country concerned. Ask your local recycling station for further information about how the different materials in the
product (metals, plastics) should be recycled.
8. Care and Maintenance
Preventive maintenance schedule
If the product, when checked, has faulty/broken parts, do not be use until the faulty parts have been replaced.
Action/Checks
Carry out a general inspection -test the product's
functions. Check that there are no broken or cracked
parts. Check that the product feels stable.
Check that the half-seats can be folded up/down
Check that the rear castors can be rotated and that the
brakes can be applied.
Check that the step is fixed.
Check that the castors are securely fixed to the frame.
Inspect exposed parts for cracks or sharp edges (these may
become unhygienic or injure the care recipient)
Check that there are no loose bolted joints
Repair any damage to the paint to prevent surface
corrosion – this applies particularly to Mover Plus.
