Spray material volume setting adjustment
Adjust the material volume by turning the regulator located on the gun trigger guard (Fig. 6).
·
-
Turn to the left → smaller volume of material
·
+
Turn to the right → "greater volume of material
Spraying technique
-
The spray result depends to a large extent on the uniformity and cleanliness of the
surface to be sprayed. Therefore, the surface must be carefully prepared and kept free of
dust.
-
Cover all surfaces that are not to be sprayed.
-
Cover screw threads or similar parts of the object to be painted.
-
It is advisable to test the gun on a cardboard or similar surface to find the correct setting.
Important: Start spraying outside the target area and avoid interruptions within the target
area.
-
Correct use (Fig. 7A). Be sure to keep the spray gun at a uniform distance of approx. 5 - 15
cm from the object to be painted.
-
Incorrect use (Fig. 7B). Excessive accumulation of spray mist, uneven surface quality.
-
Move the gun evenly from side to side or up and down, depending on the spray pattern
setting.
-
Uniform gun movement results in uniform surface quality.
-
If material builds up on the nozzle (A) and air cap (B) (Fig. 8), clean both parts with a
solvent or water.
Temporary interruption of work
If you need to interrupt the spraying job for a period of time not exceeding 4 hours, follow
these steps:
Unplug the device.
Important: If you have been using 2-component varnishes, clean the device immediately.
These materials dry very fast and could damage the gun if not cleaned in time.
