FITTING AND REMOVING THEBATTERY PACK
To remove the battery: Press release button (4) in the indicated direction (A) and pull the
battery out of the machine body. (B)
To insert the battery: Place the battery into the base of the machine and slide it until it locks
with an audible click. (C)
SWITCHING ON - SWITCHING OFF
• Switching on: Push the back end of the ON/OFF switch 1 down and then forward in the
direction of the arrow until its front end will sag, thus fixing itself.
• Switching off: Press the back, lifted end of switch 1 and release it to return in its initial
position.
MOUNTING THE WHEEL GUARD
Safety guard installed on factory.
Fitting/changing the roughing/cutting disc (Fig. 4)
Always wear protective gloves when changing cutting/rough grinding discs.
Pay attention to the dimensions of the roughing/cutting disc. The diameter of the hole
must fit themounting flange without any play. Do not use reducer or adapter.
• Use only discs which are free of dirt.
• Use only grinding discs whose permissible speed rating is at least as high as that on the
type plate on the power tool.
• RISK OF INJURY! Press the spindle locking button only when the mounting
spindle is at a complete standstill.
• Press the spindle locking button (2) to lock the motor.
• Undo the M10 screw (8) using the hex wrench (9).
• Place the rough grinding or cutting disc (6) with the label side towards the appliance
on the mounting flange.
