Main Key Functions
@ Sign Change Key
Switches thesignofthedisplayed valuebetween positive (+) andnegative (—)
Right Shift Key
Shifts the displayed value to the right, deleting the far right digit.
Example:
To change 1234 to 1235
@ Time Key
• Specifies input value as a time (sexagesimal)
• Switches the displayed value between decimal and time (sexagesimal) format.
Other key operations are shown under "Example Calculations".
About the Display
The displaysttows the

2/Correcting Input
•TO completely clear a value you have just input, press
•TO shift a displayed valued digit-by-digit

• If you input the wrong hour, minutes or seconds (time calculations)
not yet pressed g, just input the correct values.
• If you input a wrong time calculation value and press a,
pletely clear the time input and start again from the beginning.
• If you press the wrong arithmetic operation key (B , — , B, B), simply press
the correct key before inputting anything else.
Clearing Calculations
• To clear the calculator completely (except independent memory), press E.
•To clear the independent memory only, press g.
Error Indicator
The error indicator "E" appears on the display whenever any of the following
conditions exist. To clear an error, press
the calculation, or to clear the entire calculation.
• Whenever the integer part (the value to the left of the decimal point) of a cal-
culation's intermediate result or final result becomes greater than 12 digits
(10 digits with the WJ-I OOL).Along with the error indicator, an approximation
of the value appears on the display. The following table illustrates the value
that appears when you attempt to perform the calculation;

Battery Replacement
Do not try to replace the battery yourself. Have it replaced by an autho-
