10. Decorative cuff
Here's how
Place 3 needles in the middle 3 holes of the bar. Create a lace with 44 loops on
both sides.
Then, with a large darning needle, pull a different colour thread through all loops
on the loom to avoid later tangling when removing the needles. Once this is
done, remove the top bar of the hairpin lace loom and remove the lace from the
needle.
Then take up the longer loops onto one of the knitting needles and knit 6 rows
of garter stitch, then take the crochet needle and * knit every stitch individually
as a slip stitch (slst), 1 chain stitch (ch)... Repeat starting from *.
Close the lace into a circle with 1 slst. Pulled to the left, crochet together the
edges of the knitted rows with single crochets (sc).
For the shorter loops * crochet 1 slst, 1 ch in every loop. Repeat starting from *.
Close into a circle with 1 slst.
Now close the crocheted row created on the hairpin lace loom into a circle with
a slst. Now this decorative cuff is ready for glasses, vases, gift boxes and more!
