6.2 Getting started

a. Assembly: when battery is fully charged (for battery charging instruction see Section 5), disconnect the
wall Charger (9) from the battery DC port (7) on the battery (6). Next open the Vest battery pocket (5) located
on the right chest area, connect the battery (6) to the Vest DC plug (8) inside the pocket (5), and close the zip.
b. Download the Alpinestars Heat Tech App from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store onto your
Smartphone.
c. Turn on the Bluetooth

connection on your Smartphone and run the Alpinestars Heat Tech App.

d. Select HT HEAT TECH Vest from
Alpinestars Heat Tech products and
click the button PAIR (ref. App picture 1).
e. IMPORTANT For the Android users
only: please grant the permission of
your location during the pairing process.
It is mandatory by Android system to
grant the Bluetooth
f. Once the HT HEAT TECH VEST is
paired, the Smartphone display will
show the indication "connected" (ref.
App picture 2).
