4. VEST OVERVIEW
The Vest is packaged with an Alpinestars wall Charger, a 12V Lithium Polymer battery and a cable to
connect the Vest to the motorcycle's lighting plug. These items are also provided by Alpinestars as spare
parts. Standard compatible 12V battery – provided that it fits into the pocket (5) - can be used, however the
performance of such a standard battery is not guaranteed and Alpinestars cannot confirm the suitability of
the performances of such alternative battery.
The Vest feature:
four graphene heating pads positioned on the chest (1), on the neck (2) and on the lower back area (3), a
heating LED control button (4) positioned on the lower right edge of the Vest. On the right chest area is
located the pocket (5) for the battery (6) installation. The Vest comes also with a battery power connector
(11) that allows to heat the vest while riding simply connecting the cable to the motorcycle's 's cigarette
lighter. The battery (6) presents a battery DC port (7) for the connection to the Vest, through the DC plug (8)
inside the pocket (5) or for the connection with the wall Charger (9).
The Wall Charger (9) includes n° 3 adaptors (EU, US, UK) and there is a Battery LED indicator (10) on it to
indicate charging status.
The motorcycle cigarette lighter cable (11) presents a DIN Hella plug (12) for the connection to the
motorcycle lighting port and a DC port (13) to beconnected to the vest DC plug (8).
